Each driver's overall rating combines performance across seven track-type categories — Short Tracks, Intermediate Tracks, Speedways, Concrete Tracks, Superspeedways, Road Courses, and a new Martinsville-specific rating — on a 1-100 scale, per The Daily Downforce's full ratings breakdown. Denny Hamlin's 99 overall in the Cup Series is the highest confirmed number in the game; unlike NASCAR 25, where three drivers hit a perfect 100, nobody reached 100 in NASCAR 26. NASCAR.com's own preview separately confirms Hamlin at 99 and Kyle Larson at 90, matching the third-party numbers.
Ratings are also driver- and series-specific rather than one number per person: Kyle Larson, for example, is confirmed at 90 overall in the Cup Series but 95 overall in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, since he competes in both.
